Welcome to the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association's World Wide Web site! The Association has a membership of over 1,100 attorneys dedicated to the defense of civil actions and the promotion of fairness and integrity in the civil justice system. Membership in the Association is restricted to attorneys licensed in the State of Alabama who devote over one-half of their civil practice to the defense, or are house counsel for insurance carriers or corporations. Additionally, United States attorneys are eligible to join. If you feel you are qualified and are interested in the improvement of the civil defense bar, we would welcome your application!
